Why Women Are More Intuitive Than Men
by Michael Haydon

While attending a class with remote viewing guru Ed Dames in May of 2003, Dames mentioned something that I had never really given much thought to prior to his statement of it. Ed simply asked the class, “why is it that women are more intuitive than men, are they born more intuitive?” I immediately knew the answer to the former, but it was the prior that seemed to escape me. In the few seconds that followed his question I was unable to think of a response, but the response that he gave seemed to strike a cord in me; I realized the sad truth and was somewhat aghast at it, but what could I do? The truth hurts.

I find it sad how poorly some women are treated in this world we live in:

  • In many countries women hold no merit in political activities – they serve only to raise the children and tend to everyone else's needs.
  • In China males are favored over female children.
  • In many Islamic states, women are to be veiled and are treated less than equal.
  • It was only within the last century that women gained the right to vote in the United States. Even though we would all love to believe that women are treated equally even today in the US, the truth is that there is still sexual discrimination.
  • In Japan, men hold more leverage than women in many aspects of life. For St.Valentines Day women are expected to give men candy and flowers to show their appreciation for males courting them.

If there is one common theme around the world, it is that women are considered almost as second-class citizens.

And as if treating women as second-class citizens isn't enough, women are common targets of physical crimes all over the world due to their general physical weakness relative to men; they are often overpowered physically. They are victims more times than not to many haenous crimes including raping, kidnapping, and even murdering. It is not commonplace to know someone who even beats their wife. Such actions seem to stem from two sources: (1)what has been passed onto us by our elders and (2)history serving as a guide and a basis of reasoning for the disrespect of women.

From as far back as the accepted history books go, it seems as though males have dominated all the societies that have existed. There have been many legends and myths of matriarchal societies, but no real concrete evidence of their existence (I, however, do believe that there have been matriarchal societies because as far as the existence of anything is concerned, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.). So it seems as though, considering the human past, people's minds have been perpetually trained or programmed with the idea of male supremacy because the societies that taught such ideas are the only societies to have historical documentation because it is their disciples, in large, who have survived.

So the answer to the question, “why is it that women are more intuitive than men,” becomes somewhat transparent. It is that women are preyed on in our society. Women are beat, raped, stalked, murdered and on and on just for being women – it is purely for survival. To survive in the society they are raised in, their intuitive skills must be very well honed so they can avoid the constant threat of danger, which comes in all forms.

This is a very sad truth for me to contemplate. I feel ashamed of the society I have been raised in knowing the things that go on so seemingly unnoticed. But it is because we have been raised since childhood to think a certain way – in this case about females – and very few ever dare to question if what they have been raised in is 'right'.

So then, what, you may ask, is 'right'. I truly feel in my heart that the idea of 'right' is purely subjective. Most important is that it is defined not by what has been trained or programmed into one by his/her surroundings, but rather is defined in one's heart – what (s)he feels is right.

Thank You
